Poems for the Little Room
This morning I went down to the post office with a delivery slip. I had hoped it was a shipment of the Mystical Hexagram but in fact it was five copies of my second poetry book from Lulu called Poems for the Little Room. I had never before ordered a copy so it was the first time I had seen it on paper…. Well, I must congratulate Lulu. It is beautifully put together and I am really very happy with it. Having said that, it is rather pricey for a little book but still…. The quality more than makes up for it. The book contains a bunch of more recent poems combined with photographs taken by my partner and together, it makes for a pleasant experience especially given the quality

In Inner Journeys, I took some of my magickal diary extracts and interspersed them through the book for effect and to reinforce the content…. Here is one from the book on The Fool. The Fool seems foolish because he is not limited by rules or conventions – the barriers that we create for ourselves in this world. The new book – The Mystical Hexagram: The Seven Inner Stars of Power by SC Vincent and myself – gets into a discussion of what I call ‘polarity’. The Polarity displayed by the Hexagram as a symbol is actually best viewed when the Hexagram is overlaid on the Tree of Life. The writer and poet Dr. G Michael Vasey has a fascinating website called Asteroth’s Apprentice. Dr Vasey’s book Inner Journeys, Explorations of the Soul is an interesting work that describes his life-time study of the ‘Mysteries’ and the Occult Sciences. Dr. Vasey requested a copy of ITLAD a few weeks ago and a review copy was sent to him by my publisher.
