Indian Hermit – 70-years Without Food or Water

The BBC has a short video story on an Indian hermit who is being examined at a hospital because he doesn’t appear to have eaten or drank in 70-years. Instead, he claims he gets his energy from meditation. Worryingly, he is also being examined and watched 24-hours a day by the Indian military who want to find his secret for potential military uses. My thoughts on this are as follows… I have no doubt that living without the need for food and/or water is possible and that forms of meditation can provide the necessary energy. One only has to read the books by Franz Bardon to understand how this can be achieved. My second thought is that the Indian military are wasting their time. These techniques take decades to master…

Bardon’s Mirrors

Recently, I decided to start working the exercises in Bardon’s Initiation into Hermetics. I am starting at the very beginning in which one of the exercises is to essentially spend a lot of time noting all of your weaknesses and faults. These are then matched to one of the four elements and also to a level of seriousness of fault. One then repeats that for positive qualities and these become Magical Mirrors of the Soul. Let me tell you its an interesting exercise. At first, its problematic to come up with qualities actually either negative or positive but after a while and, through indirect inquiry of others, you start to get pretty good at it and my lists are prolific already (and I am not done yet!). I’m afraid I

And Back to Bardon….

Periodically I get a bee in my bonnet and return to research and reading around a few books that seem to me to have some real meaning. One of these is Comte de Gabalis of course. The others though are also worthy of mention. They are The Chymical Wedding of CRC and John Dee’s The Hieroglyphic Monad. There is a common set of linkages in these three books that doesn’t stop at the use of Dee’s Monad on the cover of The Chymical wedding! To cut right to the chase, for me, the commonality is the Elements and Elemental magic. This may be obvious in Comte de Gabalis but maybe not so obvious in the other two books – until you see it that is. Comte de Gabalis is a

Religious Dogma

I no longer think much to Religions except that as a thought control and fear creation device for the masses peddled by the elite they ought to have outlived their usefulness. Despite that, Religion continues to be usurped for less than religious purposes such as killing, violence, and more….. Interestingly enough, I came across something in Comte De Gabalis that reinforces the issues of Religion and Dogma…. ” ‘God’ is the rendering in the English versions of the Hebrew T.1,’ ‘Eloah,’ and ‘Elohim.: “^ El “does not signify Deus (God) but Sol (Sun).”^ “The word El ought to be written Al. In the original it is AL ; and this word means the God Mithra, the Sun, as the Preserver and Saviour.”^ Since the word translated God in the first

INVOCATION TO THE FLAME

I CALL UPON THEE, O LIVING GOD, RADIANT WITH ILLUMINATING FIRE. O UNSEEN PARENT OF THE SUN! POUR FORTH THY LIGHT GIVING POWER AND ENERGISE THY DIVINE SPARK. ENTER INTO THIS FLAME AND LET IT BE AGITATED BY THE BREATHS OF THY HOLY SPIRIT. MANIFEST THY POWER AND OPEN FOR ME THE TEMPLE OF ALMIGHTY GOD WHICH IS WITHIN THIS FIRE! MANIFEST THY LIGHT FOR MY REGENERATION, AND LET THE BREADTH, HEIGHT, FULLNESS AND CROWN OF THE SOLAR RADIANCE APPEAR, AND MAY THE GOD WITHIN SHINE FORTH….. From Comte De Gabalis by Abbe N. de Montfaucon de Villars.

Life’s Spam

Opening the administration section of this site is always entertaining. What do spammers think eh? Do they really think that Ugga boots or whatever they are are of any interest to the few folks who stop by and visit here? or do they think the readers are really interested in porn or pills? I do hope I attract a better class of reader than that! So I get to delete all of that none sense and wonder yet again who finds the time to be bothered posting these comments? Probably they are automated but still – what a waste of time by someone. The problem tho is that spam isn’t limited to the internet is it? Life is full of spam. It surrounds us every waking minute of the day.

Comte De Gabalis

One of my favorite books is Comte De Gabalis. I was introduced to it by Gary L. Stewart, founder of the CRC who simply suggested that I should read it. That was several years ago and I continue to read and re-read this book. Do I understand it? Nope. I get glimpses from it and it makes me think a lot but I just keep reading it and reading it. What I would really like to do I suppose is start a bit of a discussion about this book and its meaning. So if anyone out there reads this – chip in please….. If you haven’t read it then consider picking up a copy of it and then having a bit of a discussion perhaps?

Dead Birds, Fish & WikiLeaks – Pandora’s Box Has Been Opened.

All the stories recently about dead birds and fish seem to suit those who believe that the “Rapture” is to take place this coming May (and end of the worldists too). I want to comment with a different view. Actually, if you Google on this stuff it happens quite often for a variety of usually quite natural and normal reasons. CNN picked up the initial story and predictably interested people started tying in other events around the globe. Its like the CNN article provoked a massive (and predictable) interest in so called signs of the end of things. Well – you find what you look for and, in common with other conspiracy theories, you can really start to convince yourself something strange is happening. I have a theory that CNN

Thanks Brian

I learned yesterday of the untimely passing of Brain O’Neill. I didn’t know Brian that well but I had met him on a number of occasions at various weekend rituals. He was a character and someone who always had time for you. His wisdom shone brightly and, to me, he represented the SOL as much as anyone can. I know he will be missed by many. Thanks Brian. Our conversations meant a lot to me.
