Chasing Dragons in Moravia

I have just completed a follow up to Chasing the Shaman that I have called Chasing Dragons in Moravia. It’s already out on Kindle and shortly, the paperback will also be available – it includes photographs. It’s not overlong but I hope it is an interesting account of the last 6 months or so in which I took on the forms of Slavic gods Perun and Veles….. and yes, weird things did happen. The funny thing is that as I pulled this together from blog posts, notes and so on, it all fell into place like a jigsaw. It was an easy write because I suddenly understood all of the connections. And what could the connections be between Moravian stone circles and Churches, Castles guarding the gates of hell and

Episode 8 – Parasitic Entities From Hell….

A couple of years ago on a night train across Germany, I had an old hag experience. Since I could see the entity after escaping sleep paralysis, I was puzzled. How could that be? The experience terrified me and led to an investigation of the phenomenon that resulted in my book – “Basic Instinct: Erotic Paranormal Contact:: The Old Hag and the Mysterious World of Sleep Paralysis” .   In this episode of the magical world of G. Michael Vasey, I use material from the book to explain why I think that parasitic entities exist and feed on our fears. Be careful what you yearn for….. it may just manifest!   As I state in the show, I am not the only person expounding such an idea. Anthony Peake suggests

The Magical World of G. Michael Vasey – Episode 2: Talking Magic and The Initiate with Sue Vincent

In this episode, I continue investigating the idea of ‘connecting with the land’ talking with Sue Vincent, who together with Stuart France, has been doing exactly that in the UK for the last several years and written a series of 8 books detailing their investigations. We discuss some of the locations that got them started that are documented in their book ‘The Initiate’ and consider the nature of Earth energies and indeed magic itself. About Sue Vincent I am a Yorkshire born painter and writer, living in the south of England. I paint the strange things that come as images in dreams and fantasies and write about life as it happens. I was raised in a spiritually eclectic family in a landscape where myths and legends were woven into

Original WordPress Site

Back in 2015, I decided I wanted my own site with complete freedom over how it looked and worked. This is that site. However, for many years prior, I’d had the site on WordPress. You can still visit the WordPress site from the top menu. Just recently, I realised there is something valuable about being part of that community over at WordPress. So, I have started posting there again and reorganised it a bit. Some articles will appear there and here going forward – perhaps most. I don’t know yet but I will maintain the other site as well as this one. WordPress site. likeheartlaughterwowsadangry0

The Magical world of G. Michael Vasey – New Podcast Series!

In the very near future, I will be launching an all new podcast series called The Magical world of G. Michael Vasey (after this site basically!). In the podcasts, I will be focused on thoughts, views and evidence for the nature of reality. As both a PhD scientist and a trained Magician, I hope to bring some unique perspectives…..   The podcast will be an eclectic mix of things including; True stories of the paranormal that I have collected over the years – read by myself, Interviews with others in the field, A poem or two about my own visions and thoughts about reality, Perhaps an occasional guest read of true paranormal stories by someone like Darren Marlar of Weird Darkness fame using material from my audiobooks, Readings from my

Jammin’

My oldest son visited a week ago from Austin. We had a great time and it was so good to see him and see what a fine young man he is. Paul was always an amazing guitarist and so one night we got talking guitar. He ended up overlaying one of my songs with his guitar work – the result is out on Spotify today and all other music outlets. It’s a real rocker. It’s Out There is one of my favorite songs (of mine) and his guitar work just elevates it another level. Give it a listen… For good measure, I asked my daughter to add to the backing vocals too so its a family effort. likeheartlaughterwowsadangry0

Strange Book Reviews

I read a lot of very strange books. From those about dowsing and earth energies to those about magical theory and everything in between. A couple of years ago I had an idea. Why not build a site to review the books I read? Strangebookreviews was born. I used it for a while and then things slipped….. but I’m back to adding to the site now and intend to keep it going. A couple of new reviews have been added and I have been busy adding the books I have read this last 18-months or so ready to add reviews. The site has been getting traffic from somewhere even though it was essentially dormant for a year or more. At the moment, I am working with the designer of the

Reflections on Life

Over the last couple of years, I bashed out a good deal more poetry and verse and, as I am apt to do, I bundled it up in a new short volume of poems called Reflections On Life. I don’t really know why I bother a poetry barely sells but you never know who one of these slim volumes may find. I also used a small number of my own photographs for the cover and inside on the theme of reflections to round it out a bit. It is already available in Kindle format and will soon be also out in paperback form as well.      likeheartlaughterwowsadangry0
