Life’s Spam

Opening the administration section of this site is always entertaining. What do spammers think eh? Do they really think that Ugga boots or whatever they are are of any interest to the few folks who stop by and visit here? or do they think the readers are really interested in porn or pills? I do hope I attract a better class of reader than that! So I get to delete all of that none sense and wonder yet again who finds the time to be bothered posting these comments? Probably they are automated but still – what a waste of time by someone. The problem tho is that spam isn’t limited to the internet is it? Life is full of spam. It surrounds us every waking minute of the day.

Comte De Gabalis

One of my favorite books is Comte De Gabalis. I was introduced to it by Gary L. Stewart, founder of the CRC who simply suggested that I should read it. That was several years ago and I continue to read and re-read this book. Do I understand it? Nope. I get glimpses from it and it makes me think a lot but I just keep reading it and reading it. What I would really like to do I suppose is start a bit of a discussion about this book and its meaning. So if anyone out there reads this – chip in please….. If you haven’t read it then consider picking up a copy of it and then having a bit of a discussion perhaps?

Dead Birds, Fish & WikiLeaks – Pandora’s Box Has Been Opened.

All the stories recently about dead birds and fish seem to suit those who believe that the “Rapture” is to take place this coming May (and end of the worldists too). I want to comment with a different view. Actually, if you Google on this stuff it happens quite often for a variety of usually quite natural and normal reasons. CNN picked up the initial story and predictably interested people started tying in other events around the globe. Its like the CNN article provoked a massive (and predictable) interest in so called signs of the end of things. Well – you find what you look for and, in common with other conspiracy theories, you can really start to convince yourself something strange is happening. I have a theory that CNN

The BIG Question

You know, I get it. I do. But in getting it I find I don’t quite actually get it. God is love. Truth is truth. I AM. My self is eternal and it observes and it thinks in mind. My mind is My Kingdom and the Self is the King within that Kingdom. I need little but desire much in interacting with the material world. My will counteracts my desire falling back to what I need not desire. My desire unless controlled though will traps me in this world and thus I make mistakes. Through Love I have to accept and acknowledge these and make amends. Yes – its all good stuff. But something is wrong here and I do not know what it is….. This all supposes I act

The Gospel of Thomas

Just recently I have seen a lot of movies at home and I couldn’t help seeing some coincidences in terms of the movies and my thinking at the moment. Lets take for example the Bruce Willis movie – Surrogates – isn’t this a good analogy for how most of us truly are – dead? We are surrogates hiding behind our masks and facades pretending to be people we really are not because we are afraid to be who we actually are or we simply don’t know… we are the dead, we are surrogates. Anyone who has read my book – Inner Journeys – will also recollect that as a child I used to have the idea – strongly envisioned – that I was a surrogate. Hooked up to a machine

Going Around in Circles

I watched the movie Agora this weekend. It is the tale of the demise of Hypatia of Alexandria and the politicizing of the masses by Cyril, the Bishop of Alexandria who uses scripture to turn the mob against pagans, the jews, Hypatia and even other Christians. How much of it is truly historical fact is open to discussion but it is a superb portrayal of how religion (politics, lifestyle etc. etc.) can be usurped in order to persuade the masses to take violent retribution on others. Frankly, it deeply disturbed me. Don’t we just go around in circles? We never seem to learn historical lessons do we. How can a religion whose scripture is for equality, non-violence, and peace be hijacked by people who turn it into an excuse to

Life….

I think I am like my Mum – emotional. Sometimes, I find life to be sad. Its like a tread mill that we all work until finally its over. People die and its sad. People hate and carry hatred with them and its sad. You wonder – at least I do – what have I contributed? What have I achieved? What was it all about anyway? I have my own answers to these questions but I still feel like life is often a sad experience. Its this that keeps me questioning the nature of existence. And ultimately returning to the conclusions that I must first look inwards for the answers.
