Out Soon – Your Haunted Lives 3 – The Black Eyed Kids
Sometime later this week, my latest book will be released on Kindle and available at all Amazon sites. Here is the description to whet your appetites… There is a knock at the door late at night. You answer it to find two small children standing there. You are filled with a sudden but inexplicable fear. “Let us in,” they say. “We need to use the phone.” It is at that point that the fear turns to utter dread as you see that these kids have completely black eyes…… Your Haunted Lives 3 – The Black Eyed Kids, is an exploration of this terrifying phenomenon using true stories of encounters with Black Eyed kids (BEK) submitted to the My Haunted Life Too website. G. Michael Vasey examines the evidence and investigates

I have been blogging for years. Really! I built my first blog back in 2004 and have been going ever since. In all that time, I have continually wondered if I am just talking to myself? A quick look at visit stats tells me I am not of course but it is definitely a blogger’s nightmare. On the other hand, why would it be so bad? Isn’t blogging the modern equivalent of writing a diary?

I haven’t posted in a while. Quite honestly, I am simply shocked. The lack of leadership. It’s amazing.

I had a vision one day So difficult to explain or to say We were all just One And that One was God It was Life Humanity Yet, we nailed ourselves to the cross Of materialism And depravity And we rejoiced In our ignorance of division Yes – Joy division I’m here to tell you We need a revision We need a rethink We need to stop and contemplate Before it is simply to late I feel the winds of war I feel the stench of depravity I feel the inevitable The war of us and them Them and us Us against us

Humanity Insanity The walls grow Between us And I just sit and cry And ask why? Humanity Depravity Why do we constantly Reach the lowest common denominator How do we not see? The sheer fragility The depths of our soul The realizations That would make us whole? Corruption Destruction That seems to be us Always seeking The next thing to hate That is our eternal state No wonder we were cast out It was a total rout We fell and are still falling And I am in mourning Seeing the bigger picture As opposed to the blister That I have the urge to scratch There can be no redemption Until we finally see That you, you are me And I am you

In recent months I have been dreaming a lot. Dreams that go on and on even allowing for a bathroom break. Today I noted that this type of dreaming always seems to occur in periods of realization for me. I haven’t properly meditated in months and I have been thrashing around like a beached whale unable to act on anything. I marked this down perhaps to depression and periodically talked myself into starting again. However, each new initiative was short lived. Then a couple of nights ago I saw a movie on TV. It made me realize that all too often I look outside for answers that actually are to be found inside. Suddenly, a rush of realizations came to me. One was that I already know what I need

Yesterday, I watered some flowers in a wooden bucket out back. I watched as the water came out of the bottom of the bucket and began to accumulate and then migrate a path across the concrete flowing downhill. It made me wonder if life isn’t like that. We think that we make decisions about everything from what we will have for breakfast to who to marry. Each decision dictates a pathway and we become the product of our decisions over time. I am now who I am because I made a decision to go to Aston instead of Sheffield University, for example. But do we make hard decisions or do we in reality chose the easiest pathway – going downhill if you like? Do we wait to make decisions until

Sometime back in the 1980’s, I watched a late night movie on TV called The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer. I was awestruck by it and never forgot the plot or the name of the movie. It’s a shame that more people haven’t seen the movie really especially now post-BREXIT referendum. It has coloured my thinking ever since I saw it including my deep suspicion of politicians and their referendums. The movie is a brilliant satirical look at politics in the 1970’s in Britain. Written by Peter Cook, John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Kevin Billington the film follows the Mr. Michael Rimmer as he rises to become de facto President of Britain. It is utterly brilliant. It can now be seen in its entirety on youtube and I really

There comes a point When you just give up Nothing I can really do There comes a point When it’s understood This world is just fucked up How people think is beyond me Circling an endless cycle Of hate, war and pain No collective memory Imbecile telemetry Pushed and jostled around Losing ground The puppeteer grins A maniacal smile And all the while They sleep oblivious The ripples shimmer The mind gets dimmer Packed with irrelevant filth No one thinks anymore Thought patterns Deeply ingrained Like a wound inflamed I can’t believe That you can’t see How easily How sleazily You are manipulated Catipulated Into chaos The pit Hell burns brightly In heaven Today
