There are moments when I wonder what this is all about. By this, I mean life. I woke up this morning and brought with me into waking consciousness something of my dreamworld. A feeling that I am only dreaming. That this is simply not real. Its a feeling I often get and have had since being a kid. Except maybe self deception! (no – that is not new either). Today there is an explosion of articles about the mental nature of the Universe. Here is one example. I am glad. But lest these quantum physicists get ahead of themselves lets face some facts…. Man has known this for millenia. The knowledge was passed on or obtained through meditation and other such techniques but kept quiet. In a sense, it was suppressed by those who knew because of persecution or the lack of readiness of others to accept it. It was hidden. I love to dream. At least I love to dream good dreams and still suffer too many nightmares. Dreams provide a glimpse into the inner workings of the soul and are very much worthwhile recording. OK, some dreams are just a mish mash of nonsense but some hold deep significance. In my book, Inner Journeys, I talk about a dream that I still have periodically. My house dream. I can’t truly express how I feel about this house, well, sprawling mansion. I adore it with an intensity that defies description. Sometimes, the house seems partly unfinished, partly built and occupied and in other areas, partly ruined and left to the ravages of time.
