Trying to Deny Reality

Apparently, in Russia, parliament just passed a bill making it illegal to tell children that gay people exist by 434-0. The bill goes much further than that of course in its defense of ‘traditional sexuality’. Russia, it seems to me is stepping ever closer to the totalitarian nonsense from which it all too recently escaped. In fact, I think its a more dangerous country now than it was before because it pretends to be a democracy. It never ceases to amaze me how hard some countries, politicians or normal folks go to deny reality and restrict freedom. At this time of the year I am struck by the colours of spring. The lush greens of the grass and trees with new leaves and then the dustings of purple, yellow, pink, and white of wild flowers and of the blossoms. The Gospel of Mary (Magdalene) is a fascinating but incomplete document that we have only recently had an opportunity to read since it was only relatively recently published. It makes you wonder what else is laying out there in the desert yet to be found? This is a very esoteric document in which Jesus says there is no sin except that which we introduce, He discusses the nature of reality too! In fact, this is worthy of multiple reads and consideration. I am one who thinks that Jesus did exist and was a Master. This Time of Year

I love this time of year. The cold crispness on starry nights and the halo of ice crystals around the Moon or the cold dampness after a cleansing rainfall. The idea and joy of life as everything is dying as winter approaches. There is a magical feeling to it. Is There Life After Death by Anthony Peake – Reviewed

It’s a rare thing for me to rave about a book. I love to read and consequently, I read a lot of books and am often disappointed. Not so with “Is There Life after Death” by Anthony Peake. In fact, this was a book that I couldn’t and didn’t want to put down and yet had to just to think about its content. It’s well researched, well written and frankly well published in the sense that it’s a quality book too for the price. Peake has a slightly humorous writing style yet delivers on content and punch.
