The Seemingly Forgotten Book

Of all the books I have written, The Mystical Hexagram stands out for me. The hexagram was a bloody obsession to me for about 7-years (7! ha!). I needed some help to get the book over the finish line too and the emergency services arrived to breathe life into a sagging manuscript in the form of Sue Vincent. I even put a poem or two in it. Of Saturn and Lead I speak The basest metal of all Heaviness, darkness Hidden from the light My soul sees the night A burden I cannot carry Instincts abandoned return Spiraling downward Galena’s sulfur suffocates All that Saturn advocates Saturnalia is explained Deep need for some relief Base needs expunged A temporary respite Daytime during night Daath sees from on high These things

Ambition

One of my ambitions is to sell a few books. OK, I have sold a few books already but not enough to match the ambition. No, I mean a few thousand of one book. The Last Observer, my first novel, probably is the leading candidate for that ambition at least until I can finish the one I am working on at the moment and get it out. The Last Observer has gotten a lot of good reviews but it hasn’t taken off like I had hoped. Check it out… it is a short read and a fast-paced adventure that along the way, will give you a lot to think about on the nature of reality. Join Stanley as he gets sucked into a world of black and white magic. It

Astral Messages – Reviews

Gordon Strong and Sue Vincent both kindly reviewed my new book of poems – Astral Messages. Here they are… Astral Messages The Poems and Thoughts of a Troubled Mind Dr. G. Michael Vasey Here’s an interesting idea, to juxtapose prose reflections with poems. Of the latter, `A Dream’ and `Life’s Tapestry’ are gems of composition. The poems get my vote straight away because most of them rhyme, thus they have an inherent melody and rhythm. That is not to say blank verse cannot have these qualities, T.S. Eliot – for one – did pretty well on this score. It is a rare talent, however, and the experiment often misfires. What is very endearing is the honesty of the writer. In a gesture of great affection he dedicates the book to

New Book Review up on Strange Book Reviews

My new book review site at Strange Book Reviews is gradually growing in terms of the books that I have managed to read and review. If you pop over there, you will find three categories; 1. Book reviews – where I have actually reviewed the book 2. Informational listings – Just the book cover and blurb from amazon – most of these I would like to read if I ever get the time. 3. Being reviewed – These books are on my reading list and I expect to review them in the next several weeks. Do pop over from time-to-time and take a look… Meanwhile, my latest review was for the Initiate by Sue Vincent and Stuart France…. Here it is in full. Firstly, this is a deeply unique book

Life is But A Dream

I recall singing that song when I was a small child and wondering what did it mean? – Life is just a dream? Row, row, row your boat, Gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, Life is but a dream. But where did this come from and who wrote it? A bit of research suggests that the earliest printing of it was in 1852 but who wrote it and why seems lost in the mists of time. If anyone knows, please let me know… I thought life a dream when I was a child or rather, I thought it a game that I controlled. It was a sort of virtual reality (as it would be called now) and I was sat in a box connected to a machine that

Thoughts and Prayers Wanted

Many of you will know that Sue Vincent, my co-author on the Mystical Hexagram as well as a good friend, has been suffering from a severe digestive tract problem for some time, and has been living in considerable pain, while she waits for an exploratory operation. Yesterday, while traveling back from a walking weekend in the North of England, she had to stop the car just off the M6 motorway in Cheshire and call for an ambulance. She is now in Crewe hospital and was being assessed for emergency surgery last night (Tuesday 27 March). Please keep Sue in your thoughts and prayers and send her some healing light. Many Thanks.

The Book I Can’t Seem to Finish

I have been working on a book now for several years with Sue Vincent. However, I just cannot seem to get the book finished. Every time I vow to get it completed I seem to get very busy or something else happens. I am beginning to think it will only get finished when those that decide these things decide to let it be complete. The bulk of the book is done but the last chapter or two appears to be stuck…..

More Thoughts On Reality

It is funny how sometimes life brings you continually back to a certain point. Right now I am back to trying to complete the book on the Hexagram with Sue Vincent. It is as if I am being forced to address the idea that I need to do this. It is compelling – something is compelling me to continually revisit and write this damned book. In doing a little bit of research I came across a fascinating video… watch it below…. Now why would I be looking at strange stuff like this? Simple – physics says 10 dimensions, occultists say 10 emanations. I understand the video. I’m sure you will too. The question I have is this; Why is my consciousness in this dimension and place right now? Why not
