Books, Work and Judgement

Just recently, I have been busy writing and editing (and editing) The Last Observer while living my normal demanding life. I probably submitted the manuscript to a publisher too early in my excitement for being ‘finished’. For finished, read unedited spillage onto page as I feverishly wrote the thing, night after night, wondering where it was coming from! I’m like that. Impatient. It is actually one of my strengths but also a significant weakness. It is my impatience, you see, that drives me day-by-day, multitasking like crazy to achieve my goals. It’s a fact, that I have achieved much much more than many who knew me at the age of 12 would have thought and it is this impatient drive of mine that I credit for it. The downside of

The Last Observer

The Last Observer is coming along quite nicely and seems to have a life of its own. 25,000 words already and probably halfway done. Already have a mainstream publisher interested in the novel too which is good. The Last Observer is a tale of magic, alternative realities, murder and conflict. An ordinary man is abruptly dragged into a violent battle between black and white magicians because he has an imagination capable of co-creating reality. He soon learns that reality is not at all what it seems and that he will be called to play a decisive role in determining whose reality will prevail. Hopefully, it will be out later this year.

The Fool’s Journey

The last few weeks have seen me return to thoughts about the Way of the Fool. As if by magic, this has been reinforced as I reread a book called The Zelator which outlines the Way of the Fool extremely well. I will post a review of the book when I am finished with it but I can highly recommend it none the less. All this thought took me back to Inner Journeys in which the prologue is a poem I wrote about the Fool’s Journey. Here it is…. If you need some answers Look deep inside your mind For the inside is the outside Where all answers you can find On the Fool’s long journey You must start right at the end And walk your way backwards Imagination –

St. Germain and Bardon

Anyone who has read Frabato the Magician will be aware of the claim that Franz Bardon was the reincarnation of St. Germain, as well as a lot of other things about Bardon that one’s initial reaction is to discount as the over zealousness of his followers. But, I have been in a vein of thought and meditation for some time now about all of this and I do believe that there is a connection between Bardon and St. Germain. One only has to read Comte de Gabalis (most likely the Comte is St. Germain) and compare with Bardon’s material to start to suspect at least a common point of origin. What is also intriguing is the lack of any real details around either man. Indeed, their lives have a sort

Thoughts On The Nature Of Reality

Reality. What is it? Rosicrucians talk of both reality and actuality. Reality is essentially what you perceive of the actuality. There is an actuality but what it is most likely cannot be known – not now anyway. Reality is an illusion. A self made illusion. Time is a reality and an illusion. It is simply a construct of the mind that is required by Universal Mind Law to allow for movement and experience. Reality – your reality – is created via imagination and your belief system. Your culture, upbringing, beliefs and yes- the rules you live life by – all go into creating your reality. But that reality is an illusion – a wakeful dream. It is not actuality. All of us fall into the trap of believing into reality.

Love As Acceptance

Today, Asteroth told me write about love. I asked for more detail and she said ‘love as acceptance’. I didn’t need anymore words because the words themselves conveyed the entirety of the suggestion. This is a difficult concept to explain but it seemed as if the words themselves conveyed the feeling and understanding of love as acceptance. It’s as if the words are only a key to a packet of understanding which opens up and engulfs me. What those words conveyed to me was along the lines that when we are told to ‘love one another’, we are told to accept one another for what we are and what we have the potential to be. It’s a surrendering of one’s own ego and viewpoint. A letting go of our own
