The Ghosts of The Czech Republic
My new book – The Czech Republic – The Most Haunted Country in the World – was released yesterday in Kindle format. There was a slight snafu and I had to remove the photos unfortunately but it is now out. The paperback version is in progress and it WILL include my photos….. An audiobook version is planned though it might be me doing the reading as there are too many Czech words and locations in the book for someone unfamiliar with the language to pronounce…. (and listening to GPS instructions from an English voice mispronouncing everything has put me off not getting it right for life…) The book is a mixture of myths, tales, legends, ghost stories, haunted locations and scary places. It should make for a good Halloween read

Is it just me that grows weary (understatement) of those people who are all of the time posting end of the world doom and gloom stories? The internet is rife with these scare mongers (who half the time are promoting their recent book on the same subject and surely don’t believe a word of their own nonsense but rather hope that you will buy their book and line their posckets). Many are ‘born again’ types who seem to believe they will be bodily removed from the Earth as the rest of us die an ugly and prolonged death for our sins. I was reminiscing to myself last night as you do from time to time. I recall back in the early part of my career how there where no cell phones, no smart phones, no IPads, no PCs, no windows, no Google, no Facebook…… and wasn’t it great! If I went on a trip, I didn’t expect to keep in touch with people, no one called me looking for something. Occasionally, I’d get on a payphone and call home to check in but that was it.
