The Mystical Hexagram

After one final push to complete the book, it is now with Datura Press and should be out by end of August. The full title is “The Mystical Hexagram: The Seven Inner Stars of Power” and I co-wrote this with SC Vincent. We are both excited to see it appear and soon there will be a website to go with the book. It sort of picks up where “Inner Journeys” left off…. We hope you will like it!

A Thank You!

Well I am more than two weeks post operative and feeling quite good. Some of you may be aware that I had a benign tumor removed from my colon. For those interested it was 4.5cm in diameter and essentially a fatty growth but it was causing me some issues. The surgery was laproscopic, took 6 1/2 hours and removed about 10cm of my colon. I count myself fortunate that the tumor was benign and that the Czech’s could do the procedure laproscopically. I now have five healing holes in my abdomen but the stitches came out yesterday. This was pretty major surgery by all accounts and so I want to thank all of you who held me in your thoughts, prayers and meditations – don’t stop just yet though –

Celebrating My Dad

I remember one day a few years ago looking around a cemetery with Dad. We were researching our family name together. I heard my Dad say something like ‘Oh my God” and looked up to see him appearing very pale and shocked. He was looking at a headstone that read “Charles Neville Vasey”. What was astonishing was that this Charles Neville Vasey had been born in the same year as our Dad but died quite young. Dad was shaken but I know he was also very happy to have lived so much longer than his namesake. I can truly say that I have never met anyone like my Dad. He somehow found a way to develop and share interests with all three of his sons no matter how different we

Comte De Gabalis

One of my favorite books is Comte De Gabalis. I was introduced to it by Gary L. Stewart, founder of the CRC who simply suggested that I should read it. That was several years ago and I continue to read and re-read this book. Do I understand it? Nope. I get glimpses from it and it makes me think a lot but I just keep reading it and reading it. What I would really like to do I suppose is start a bit of a discussion about this book and its meaning. So if anyone out there reads this – chip in please….. If you haven’t read it then consider picking up a copy of it and then having a bit of a discussion perhaps?

Thanks Brian

I learned yesterday of the untimely passing of Brain O’Neill. I didn’t know Brian that well but I had met him on a number of occasions at various weekend rituals. He was a character and someone who always had time for you. His wisdom shone brightly and, to me, he represented the SOL as much as anyone can. I know he will be missed by many. Thanks Brian. Our conversations meant a lot to me.

A Request…

For those who visit this blog please take a moment to send a little healing light in the direction of my parents. My father, who is 81, is struggling with multiple myoloma and going through his second treatment – the first was extremely successful 8-years ago but he is a tad older now….. and for my Mum who at 75-years is of course dealing with everything. Many Thanks,
