Paranormal Eyewitness – A New Series of Terrifying Kindle Short Episodes

I have launched a series of Kindle short books as of yesterday. Each book will be 99cents (pence) and will be a short but focused collection of stories, experiences, and thoughts around certain supernatural phenomena. The idea is to build a library of Kindle shorts through 2017 all under the collective Paranormal Eyewitness brand. The first book – Episode 1 – was released yesterday with a focus on Black Eyed People. About Paranormal Eyewitness Episode 1 – The Black Eyed Demons Are Coming Black-eyed children are an urban legend of paranormal creatures that resemble children between the ages of 6 and 20, with pale skin and black eyes, they are reportedly seen hitchhiking or panhandling, or are encountered on doorsteps of residential homes. The black eyed kids are a frightening

True Tales of Haunted Places

I have a new book out in the run up to the Xmas period. It’s called True Tales of Haunted Places and its a compilation of my own stories and submissions to the My Haunted Life Too website that I think make a very creepy little book. Its available for pre-order now and will be officially released on December 10th. I love the cover!

10,000 Books Sold

For the last 16-months, I have been tracking sales of most of my books. Not all, as I can’t access the information in some instances in timely fashion and in the case of one publisher – not at all. However, I have definitely now surpassed 10,000 books sold. Quite a staggering number for something that is really a hobby on the side. I am currently moving 6-10 Kindles a day and 100 audiobooks a month not to mention paperbacks etc. My best seller is now Your Haunted Lives and it has managed more than 2000 sales to date. Not far behind are My Haunted Life Too and My Haunted Life. Thanks to all who have purchased any of my books…. hopefully it will be 20,000 soon!

Three Things That Sell Books – And It Isn’t Content

Nope. Content doesn’t much matter it seems. If you want to sell books here are the three most important things by a mile… 1. Cover. The cover is what will make your book stand out from the crowd. A good book cover is worth its weight in gold. 2. Title. Yep – title is important so think it through, experiment with it and include lots of juicy key words. 3. Description. How you set up the book is important too – write a compelling description and fill it full of keywords as well. Consider using a list of contents and/or endorsements. So what does this mean? It means people buy books based on cover, title and description… Once they have purchased the book, content is more important but to get

The Supernatural Czech Republic

I just issued a new book on Kindle and shortly to be a paperback too. It is called The Czech Republic – The Most Haunted Country in the World? It’s definitely a good choice for a Halloween read… Here are a few abridged stories from it…. The Devil’s Bible A few years ago, I had the opportunity to see this strange document first hand, as it was on display outside of Brno. In fact, what I saw was a copy of the original. Nonetheless, the effect was chilling. The Devil’s Bible or Codex Gigas is 36inches tall by 20 inches wide and about 9 inches thick. It contains a set of Christian texts including the Bible. It is bound in leather with metal trim and weighs over 165 pounds. It

The Ghosts of The Czech Republic

My new book – The Czech Republic – The Most Haunted Country in the World – was released yesterday in Kindle format. There was a slight snafu and I had to remove the photos unfortunately but it is now out. The paperback version is in progress and it WILL include my photos….. An audiobook version is planned though it might be me doing the reading as there are too many Czech words and locations in the book for someone unfamiliar with the language to pronounce…. (and listening to GPS instructions from an English voice mispronouncing everything has put me off not getting it right for life…) The book is a mixture of myths, tales, legends, ghost stories, haunted locations and scary places. It should make for a good Halloween read

The Czech Republic – Is it the Most Haunted Country in the World?

Probably in my opinion…. Having lived here 10-years, it definitely has an undercurrent of myth, legend, and the strange. So it should be no surprise that on October 1st, my new book will be out in an attempt to try to prove it! Take a look. You can even pre-order it in Kindle format!

It Is Time For Amazon to Get Tough On Spoof Negative Reviews

I can only assume that someone somewhere doesn’t like me or any modicum of small success that I may have with my books. I say this because I have a string of 1-star reviews on Amazon UK that suddenly popped up across several of my books in a short period. Each is by ‘Amazon Customer’. Each Amazon Customer has done exactly one review – my book. Each review is unverified meaning they didn’t buy the book on Amazon – so where then? They are only available on Amazon! Each has a comment ranging from ‘Shite’ to something about poor editing. Some of these reviews were posted by someone who hasn’t read the book as the comment specifics bear no relationship to the content of the book. Perhaps, you can buy

What I Like About Audio Book Publishing

Yesterday, I reached a new milestone with just over 700 audiobooks sold in the 12-months since I launched the first. There is an audience for audiobooks and it is a bit different to the ebook and paperback audience. Today, another book from my back catalog became available as an audiobook – My Haunted Life 3 – and several more are in production including the Extreme edition of the My Haunted Life series, The Last Observer and my latest Kindle book – The Black Eyed Kids. The monthly sales royalties for audiobooks also have helped move my earnings into reasonable territory. I can now safely say that my royalties exceed $6000pa from all sources and growing. Audiobooks have been a large part of that. Audiobooks are fun to put together too.

The Hexagram

I’m unsure how many people may have read the book The Mystical Hexagram by myself and Sue Vincent, but I am sure its less than 100. Even I will describe the book as a strange tome but packed with magical information. The book came about as a result of my utter obsession with this occult symbol. While I was finishing the Servants of the Light first degree course, I kept on seeing the symbol in meditation. The inner contact that I had developed kept leaving me with tantalizing scraps of wisdom about it too. I found myself doodling hexagrams and pondering the correspondences of it. I recall one weekend retreat led by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki in which I showed her this huge diagram of the symbol and everything I could possibly
